Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Fond du Lac, Wisconsin has a beautiful old Main Street which has inspired me to paint many paintings. This piece won the Whitewater Art Alliance Award at the Wisconsin Regional Art Program's 2009 Annual State Exhibition.
About Ryan Radke
I have been painting watercolors for over 20 years. I am thankful to have won many awards. I enjoy teaching watercolor to adults and children. I'm partial to street scenes and landscapes, and light and shadow play an important role in each painting. I love watercolor because of the subtle nuances that can't be achieved in any other medium.
